Area of Trapezoids (2 Puzzles)
This is a collection of two puzzles. In the first puzzle, students are given the height and the length of both bases and asked to find the Area of the Trapezoid.
In the second puzzle, the Area is given along with 2 of the 3 dimensions (both bases or the height & a base). Students then find the missing dimension (height or a base).
Puzzle pieces are in the shape of triangles with answers or questions along the edges. To solve, simply match the edge of a triangle with a question with the edge of a triangle with the answer.
This item is ideal for math stations, an alternative to worksheets or even as a fun activity when you have a sub.
