Area of Triangles (2 puzzles)
This is a collection of two puzzles. In the first puzzle, students are given the height and the base and asked to find the Area of the Triangle.
In the second puzzle, the Area is given along with either the height or the base. Students then find the missing dimension (height or a base).
Puzzle pieces are in the shape of triangles (first puzzle) or octagons (second puzzle) with answers or questions along the edges. To solve, simply match the edge of the shape with a question with the edge of the shape with the answer.
This item is ideal for math stations, an alternative to worksheets or even as a fun activity when you have a sub.
